Wise Cracks live Happily ever Laughter

From the 1st to the 19th of November, Alan Committee will do what he does best. That is make people laugh. His new comedy show at Theater on the Bay, Happily ever Laughter promises to be "hilariously happy".

In this side-splitting new comedy revue, award-winning mirthful madman, Alan Committie, returns to his one-man roots and explores everything from Royal Weddings to Osama Bin Laden and all that’s in-between, including a “do-it-yourself corrupt government” demonstration; classical music and what it really means; as well as a rather extensive look at The Harry Potter Movie Franchise …
But this is a one-man show with a difference!  It co-stars Jo Galloway (Boeing- Boeing, Dick and I and Perfect Wedding) who joins Committie in exploring the fairy tale existence of life in 2011!
The show will include sketches, characters and loads of silly observations as only Committie can provide and if you book now, you will get your ticket for half of what you might have paid if you had bought two tickets! (It’s a pleasure!)
At this moment, that acid kicked in

Comedy is a man's world. I don't think any wise man has ever said that. Or at least not in the company of the ladies  of Wise Cracks.

Three of Cape Town's funniest women, Anne Hirsch, Shimmy Isaacs and Marianne Thamm will take to the road on November 4 when they will perform their show Wise Cracks at Evita Se Perron in Darling for one night only. The trio, who usually make up the popular Cracks Only quartet responsible for "Cracks and the City" and "Cracks and the City II", will be joined by guests, comedians Angel Blythe Campey and Kellyn Coetzee.
Main Crack Marianne Thamm will host this evening of hilarious all-women comedy. The Cracks began their career in Darling when they did their first performance of "Cracks And The City" at the venue in 2010. It is a night Darling inhabitants have never forgotten."It's going to be Bafanny, Bafanny" said one fan.

Tickets are R80. Phone Beryl at (022) 492 3930 for bookings.
